- What project did they complete for you?
My wife and I finally found the house we wanted, after two years of looking - but it was something of a “fixer-upper”! We got several bids for a complete renovation of the kitchen, and Tony Whitehead was the general contractor we were most impressed with. The day we closed on the house Tony’s crew began work, and I was amazed at the speed with which the job was completed. We were able to move in to the house with a brand new kitchen just 2 ½ weeks later. Even when some water damage was discovered from the previous owner, Tony addressed the problem and kept the project on schedule.
- Did they offer any guidance as you planned out your project? (ie what would work best in your space, color selections, granite selections, appliance selections etc.)
Several unanticipated decisions regarding styling and décor were made much easier with Tony’s input.
- Did they lay out and clearly explain the schedule for your job? Did you understand what was going to be done?
Yes, clear communication was a pleasant feature throughout the project.
- Was your jobsite kept clean during the process?
The jobsite was kept quite clean - more so than was even necessary under the circumstances, since we were not occupying the house at the time!
- Was the final product of high quality?
I am very pleased with the quality of work done, and when one minor issue needed attention later, I was very pleased with Tony’s prompt and cheerful response.
- Did they add any extra touches to your project that really made it “pop”?
In addition to a kitchen renovation, WB oversaw a wall removal between two living areas. The method used was simply ingenious, since it was a load bearing wall, and the finished look has been flawless. It has transformed my whole house.
- Would you (have you) use them again?
I would most certainly make Whitehead-Boyd my first choice for future home renovation projects. In fact, I have some in mind!
